Greetings from the Jag Room

Here's some video from yesterday AM in the "Jag Room", a common area with games, internet, etc. for the kids on the 5th floor of Wolfson. Chris was discharged last night and came home this morning. He's doing pretty well except for a lot of nausea from the Cisplatin. I know he's glad to be home with his mom and Jake. Fortunately there's a marathon of "Penguins of Madagascar" on TV to add some humor to a Friday nite. Hopefully he won't crash as hard as the first time he had this chemo regimen.

  1. Christopher did ok today,-pretty tired and a few bouts of nausea but no puking! Thanks to Nonni for the chicken soup and mac and cheese he manged to eat well in the hospital...but God help me get some green into this child!
He is glad to be home and very happy to see Jake. We get a 2 week break before the next 2 rounds (just blood work 2x a week) so I hope for a bit of "normalcy" for both of us.
He is enjoying thinking about what to choose for his "Dreams Come True" opportunity, (Kinda like the "Make a Wish" foundation). So far it is a trip to Hawaii (Maui), a cruise or flght lessons. International travel is not an option anymore so my New Zealand/Australia idea was scrubbed...tho Costa Rica may make the top 5!
Please feel free to ask Chris questions via the comments or offer suggestions in any cpacity. We are working on having him tell more of his story when he is feeling up to it.
Thanks to all of you for your support.
