ReplyDeletehey its chris surgery is tomorrow. wish me luck.
ReplyDeletehey it's Mom!...ok being a bit more wordy than my dear child I would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continued care and concern. There has been such an outpouring of love, prayers and support and I know it has made a big difference on a much higher level than I can even begin to understand. Tomorrow, surgery day, will be difficult for all of us but Christopher is in great spirits and focused on the recovery part of this journey. He says staying focused on the present moment, or as he used as an example "whatever is on tv or going on in front of him" helps him to deal with this on a day to basis. He feels there is no use worrying about "what could happen". I thought this to be quite profound coming from a 12 year old...maybe he has a touch of "zen" in him after all!
ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you all and we will continue to keep you informed as this unfolds. Peace, Patty
Team Blackwell. Yay! :)
